I’ve seen and run into many people who have been through horrific things in life. From rape to being forced into prostitution and even those with no hope, food, clothes or family.
I realize this world is full of evil which seems to always overshadow good (God). I realize everything in this world is pressing us to believe in and trust no one but ourselves (Man) who continues to let us down but yet we always seem to find the same person in a different body to hurt us again and again.
I’ve come to the conclusion that many people only speak that they want a better life, but when it comes down to it they want what they are used to having and some are even addicted to a life full of turmoil. I once had a woman tell me she wanted a good man only to find one and then cheat on him because…: “He’s too nice” yes true story. She would rather have a man that ruffles her feathers. Peace for some people is considered boring and they find themselves going back to the very same bondage they said made them unhappy.
Then eventually all the unforgiving pain in life somehow twist the heart of the individual to say: ”There is No God. ” They would rather believe a man who has been on this earth for 50 years tell them the earth has been here for more than a million years, never saying to themselves how does a man who has only been on this earth for no more than 100 years tell me the earth has been here for over a million years. The weatherman tries to give us a 10-day forecast and can only (guess) the weather right 50% of the time for the very next day, yet we tune in to see “what the weather will be next week when I go on vacation” How foolish.. They’ve converted to science for their gods.
My definition of science in place of God – “I’ll believe it when I see it”. Which contradicts their very belief (History). Let’s break that down and say it slow HIS… STORY. Some believe their story that the big bang theory which has never been seen or PROVEN just to say there is no god. The doctor says you have a sickness inside you and without seeing it you believe it. His-story can only show how 100’s of thousands of men/doctors got their stories wrong.
It reminds me of how people would take one block of wood and carve Idol gods from half of the wood and then say this is my god who will save me, Take the other half of the same block of wood and used it to cook their food. Nothing tells them why this is only a block of wood… how can it save me? I just burned the other part of it to cook my food.
I’ve said all that to say this. The god most people serve is the god of pain, failure, and unforgiveness. Locking themselves to a life of pain and failure by wearing the chains of unforgiveness towards those who took advantage of them. All the while having the key for freedom in their front pocket but refusing to use it.
Here’s the truth be told… the reason why you chose science in place of the true and living God is because you don’t need faith to be a member. You’ve put your faith in the wrong people and now it’s easier to join a religion that doesn’t need faith because of all of the pain it costs you trusting in the world’s system. Yeah, it failed me too but God’s system works.
I leave you with the words of Jesus…”You Faithless and perverted generation”.
